Bulb syringes

A bulb syringe can also be used to perform jala-neti. When using a bulb syringe device the plastic container (bulb) is squeezed to push out water through a nozzle and into a nostril. The main benefit is that the user has complete control over the pressure.

Pros:
  • Complete manual control
  • Compact
Cons:
  • Harder to clean
  • More difficult to fill
  • Holds only a small volume of saline
